1.
Intro 00:56
poison arrows through the mind, endless error, missing parts, lies
2.
Ephemera 01:42
serpents will consume, swallowed whole in the stream conscious. consuming all the leaves all the trees. the sounds of the flock humming like birds, deafening (needles and pins, spikes and studs, on the surface, colors and fonts, prints and shapes, what's the purpose of ephemera) what's beyond the context, distractions
3.
Pageantry 01:38
atonement for a mortal sin, spilling blood on a binded word, wages placed upon the form within. beasts of the field feed on the entrails. (washing and anointing the filth) can you taste the death
4.
Rudiments 01:45
ugliness through caricature, fibrous, well-defined, all the air is stale and vapid, all the past regrets, all the accidents flashing in patterns (break the seal, breach the wing, choke on the feathers) swallowing the lineage of a failure, break the chains, a family crest, a shield that has shattered
5.
Witches 01:38
suckling on glass blemishes, to feed the rats, snakes charged into swords used to cut out the heart (astral projection, manifested on illuminated by a spectral sphere) {banished to an altar of sleep} body of a worm, the head of a god it breathes comets and lava into space
6.
i don't believe your convictions. i can see through the pretense, (there's no value in human nature) you can stare into the void, subconscious paths of intent. follow it to the end, you will find an empty meadow
7.
a hollow phrase, a thread that ties and will break, abuse the ideas, use them for selfish gain, brace yourself for disrepute and disgrace. face the error in your ways, robbed of youth, drunk with power, fold and cower, you wear that uniform like a pig
8.
its not the same as it was (everything changed, for better or for worse, but I can't help but feel its all the same) the air is thick with nostalgia, but if you try you can see the future (chorus) it's all the same, maybe we're the ones that have changed
9.
golden knives divide and conquer, occult violence upon thrones of blood, retribution for destroyed lives, those cast aside. (inner visions blurry kingdoms, apparitions covet the fold), emerald daggers staggered through the chests of enemies, a curse brought upon by false idols (chorus) coven of the white stag reborn
10.
born into privilege. everything that you want (eighteen, faces all around, eighteen, parents always frown, eighteen, gotta get away, gotta go to college, gotta lose control) spend their money on useless things. drink away every dream, graduate, have a family, get a job, be a slob, key to success
11.
Disorder 01:47
salt the ground like open wounds, nascent thoughts born in tombs. it's the soil it's the sea (sounds echoing through the chasm of children's laughter), in the end there is no heaven it's the air that we breathe
12.
moving more and more to the left, there's no solutions, not overcoming, but grinding the hydra into dust (in your yards, in your heads, in your schools, in your beds, in the streets, it's your fault) there's no justification, no excuses, it's all your fault

about

"skullduggery" is the debut lp from denton, tx's wiccans, who play wild and inventive hardcore. insanely melodic guitar lines are juxtaposed with tough and unique vocals over a driving, kbd-style punk sound. wiccans manages to balance power and catchiness in one of the best hardcore lps we've heard in awhile. blows away not only their previous material, but most of their peers', as well. be prepared to pick your jaws up off the floor." - katorga works
